A new crop of interactive books are keeping children entertained while both fueling their imaginations and feeding their learning skills.

DMH Publishing's The Dolly Adventures books come highly recommended, having received a seal of approval from prestigious parenting associations such as the National Parenting Center and iParenting Media, along with earning Dr. Toy's Smart Play, Smart Toy Product of Excellence award. Also, printed right on the book's front cover is "Pediatrician Recommended." This might satisfy parents, giving them assurance that the product is safe and appropriate for the little ones, but how appealing are the books to kids?

The books were designed to promote positive interaction and learning between child and doll, which is intended to teach real-life nurturing and positive behavior.

The best part is children can use their favorite doll to interact with the books. Each Dolly book comes with a replica of the outfit and accessories in the book. The outfits were designed to fit most dolls ($19.95 each).

Colorful and charming, the offerings in The Dolly Adventures book series are Dolly Goes to the Beach and Dolly Goes to the Supermarket.

The books were written by Alison Lynne and illustrated by Lealand Eve.
